This week was really not that fun, but I received great news... I'M STAYING IN CLINTON! Unfortunately, Elder Dantas is leaving to go be a Spanish missionary. I'll miss him, but my new companion is Elder Black and I love him! He was in my district my first 3 months, and now he's back! On top of all this, we have a CAR! I'm super excited to see what this next transfer holds.
So, Monday we marched in the Pioneer day parade in Ogden, and it was really fun! After that we got to go to the movies as a mission, and see the movie "Love, Kennedy". It was really good but really sad! While we were there, the family and the actors were there with us, and we got to take a picture with them, it was really neat.
Tuesday, I was sick ALL DAY and we didn't get to go out all day... I hate colds!
Wednesday, I was still super sick, but we managed to get out a little bit. We went to district meeting, and then the rest of the day we tried to do some finding.
Thursday, I went on exchanges with Elder Rodgers in the other part of the stake, while Elder Lauer came to be with my companion. We had a few lessons, one of them being with an 11-year-old who wants to be baptized. While we were teaching him, he was telling us about this dream he had that he wanted to come true. The dream was that he wanted Peach and Mario to come in real life, and live with him so that he's not alone :-). It was super funny, but we tried not to laugh since he's just a kid and doesn't know any better
Friday, we had dinner with the Blackburns! A super cool family. The dad is not a member, and neither is one of their sons, and they agreed to having us teach him! Great family all around, and our goal is to see them sealed in the temple in a year!
Saturday my sickness struck again, and didn't get to do much at all..
Sunday, we went to church as usual, then made a few visits later that day, but not much happened.
I actually had a few pictures this week, so I hope you all enjoy! Have a wonderful week, love you all!
