Justin’s Baptism and I’m Home

Hey everyone! Sorry for the delay in the email. My last Monday in the mission field was so busy packing that I didn’t have time to send one out. But this is my final update! So sad to have to stop writing these but life will go on. My last week was amazing! Justin was baptized and confirmed and I couldn’t be more proud of him. The baptism room was filled with the spirit and lots and lots of people! He had a ton of family and friends supporting him, even some of his basketball teammates were there. As I was sitting in Justin’s baptism, I reflected on my mission and the amazing experiences that I was able to have. I will truly miss being able to be a full time representative of the savior, but I know I can continue to share His gospel here at home.

My last day of my mission was very bittersweet. We were able to have dinner and testimonies at President Calls house, then sleep there overnight to be ready for the airport in the morning. It was fun and exciting, but at the same time we were all sad because we knew we wouldn’t have quite the same experiences at home. A mission is truly something that you cannot replace. I loved it with all of my heart and I can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for me now! If you have any questions about what I did on my mission, shoot me an email at Tyler.d.greer@gmail.com as I won’t have access to this email much longer. Also stay tuned for a post on my Facebook about my mission. I love you all, Elder Greer signing off!
